Talking about Battle of Verdun / Able Gance's film J'accuse was originally a silent 1918 film shot during the battle and many of the extras in the film died on the battle field and maybe, the artist was in the credits of the film / later version of the film were dubbed in because Gance had them mouth words / Gance also did silent film "Napoleon" and Francis Ford Coppola's father did live music at Rockefeller Center that I went too / it was said that if Gance had been a general and his army in the film would have been real he would have been hard to defeat or something like that
