I agree we were able to resolve the re-subscription issue, and I appreciate Mr. Standford's efforts in handling the situation so well.

I have a call in to the clean-up mouse's people requesting his services for my garage. They tell me he's very booked up and maybe available in 2056.

My subscription was renewed without my knowledge, against my will, with no recourse available to me for getting the $60 back. This is an amount I can live with for a year, but less-willingly if I must read partisan (side-picking) information on the tragedy that has dogged Israel, as the former British Mandate in Palestine, since its founding. If one insists that Israel must be given "back" to its Arab occupants, then also, the U.S. must be given back to our indigenous peoples. If not making that absolutist choice, then one must note that, while plenty of Israelis and global Jews speak to the deaths and tragedy on both sides, from the Palestinian/Arab side, no similar considerations, of the mutual costs, are heard. As a result, Israelis live with "safe rooms" and incoming-rocket sirens, and strive to go about their business. To put the demand for resolution of this mess on the shoulders of the one side (absent that "absolutist" choice) is to further the conditions that make this horrifying situation go on and on and on.

Update:

Mr. Morris and I corresponded and were easily able to resolve the re-subscription question.

In the US under our originialist modus oprandi we will make ourselves whole when we reach backwards and honour the treaties signed from 1800 on. We are suffering hypocrites until the words writ down on paper are honored. Greed kills. And its infinite extenuation into the future kills thought.

Who could argue with your view on U.S. hypocrisy? Any system for ignoring past abuses and starting out, fresh, from the murderous point of the present, seems to me, the same way that you say it here.

I have come to consider Hypocrisy as the singular greatest of sins. I won't re-label it "Satan" here, in this public forum. But I can think of nothing worse, among human actions.
