I was both happy and sad to read that Talk of the Town piece by George Trow, whom I had known since we were both protocol guides at the New York World's Fair. I got to know many versions of George over the years, but 'Within the Context of No Context' knocked me over when it was published--not just for its brilliant intimations of our cultural future, but for its overlapping memories of our time at the World's Fair. I haven't re-read it recently, but I will now. Thanks for the reminder.
